Sand Bar ️

"We were in the area for the weekend and wanted someplace to watch the Miami Hurricanes football game. We were told about the Sandbar and it didn't disappoint. Everyone was nice and the food was good. Lazlo gave us great customer service too. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with the locals. We will definitely go back if we are ever back in the area. Can't beat a great sports bar with good food and cold beer!!"

"Christmas Day 2024. We stopped in for lunch and found a lively and friendly staff as well as lots of friendly locals. This is a cool dive bar with great bar food and cold drinks. The menu is long with lots of specials. Today was a Turkey dinner and since it was Wednesday bbq ribs as well. W/o ordered some raw oysters and the group basket and both were delicious.. Up to this point I had found the people on the beach and street not very friendly. I guess they were tourists. Some people like touristy place but I like the out of the way places where locals hang out. Never fails you meet some interesting folks. Highly recommend and will return Urban Cowgill December 2024"

"The food here is fantastic, with great prices and an abundance of TVs. They also offer happy hour specials with delicious oysters and frog legs. The grouper, fries, mussels, and linguine in red sauce are all amazing. The service is top-notch, but the tacos were a bit bland."

"2 had the Reuben and they didn't have alot of corned Beef and were greasy, 3 ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich which was extremely thin and 1 had a lot of gristle or something unknown. Frog legs were ok. 1 had the blackened grouper sandwich and didn't like it all. The server was very good and the food came out promptly but we wouldn't go back."

"We ordered crab and didn’t like it. We only took about 2 bites. We told the waiter that we were so sorry but we didn’t like it and it had some breading, so my gluten free friend couldn’t eat and asked if we could see the menus to order something else. We told him we would still pay for it. And we didn’t expect it to be taken off our bill. But then our waiter asked us if his mom could sit with us (we are two teenage girls and very reluctant to say no) and we let her. We awkwardly sat with his mom for the rest of the night which was about 1.5 more hours because it was karaoke night. Since his mom was sitting with us, we expected some kind of discount or for the crab to be taken off or something… but nothing. For context, the restaurant was very busy and there was no where else for his mom to sit I guess. He came us to us and asked “are you waiting for anyone else” and we said no. Then he said “my mother is here and I don’t have any other seat for her. Would you mind if she sat with you?” And we said it was okay if she sat with us. Still, very unprofessional and the bill ended up being $50/person."
