- Greg B - 3/5: After visiting this breakfast restaurant, we were not as satisfied as other places on the island. The breakfast lacked flavor and was not real good. The eggs and potatoes were dry and seemed like they had been sitting up for a while. I did eat some of it but could not finish. My wife had the cheese grits and the cheese was just placed on top of the grits and not mixed in. That's the big lump of cheese on the plate next to the bacon that the wife had to just scoop off the top, it was too much. I am not confident we will be visiting Hoot's again.
- Amy Grace - 3/5: Recommend breakfast only here. Ordered red beans and rice, which was odd by usual standards. So-so. Husband ordered a Reuben, which he liked. I didn't.
- Julie Lee - 4/5: Very busy place! Can tell it’s a favorite with the locals. Had about a 20 minute wait but the hostess made it easy to be ok with it- such a sweet person. I only had a bagel and fruit cup (was a little disappointed with the over ripe banana); my husband had an open faced omelette (we had never heard of such a thing), he said it was very good. We were told that all the bread is home baked (wish that info was in the menu… I would’ve ordered something different- the bagel wasn’t made in house). My husband got the raisin bread and said it was delicious. If we were locals I’m sure it’s a place we would frequent.
