“This is truly a hidden gem. The place looks a bit dated in a retro way but it’s a vibe and more importantly VERY CLEAN. The rooms were also very spacious. The staff was the best, going out of their way to help us have a great stay. The location is ideal as it’s near the water and close by to the beach. So glad I found this place.”

“Had a wonderful experience staying at The Boathouse! The front desk woman and the owner are extremely friendly and made it easy for us to grab our key after hours. The room was clean with comfortable beds! They are large rooms with a sitting area and little kitchen that have both a fridge and microwave! There’s an Keurig machine with mugs for a nice morning coffee without having to leave the room if you choose. Our room featured a walk in closet and large bathroom counter space, which I found nice so my husband and I weren’t tripping on each other in the bathroom. We highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again when we come back to Marco island!!”

“The boat house motel is very clean. The staff is very friendly. I could sit on the dock and watch the dolphins swim by every day. The motel is in a good location to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend the boathouse motel to anyone wanting a very nice place to stay on Marco Island”

“This place was amazing. We booked it on a last minute whim to go away for a birthday celebration, not really caring where we stayed overnight, but more needing some place to sleep because of how far we had traveled for the daytime activities. This place ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip. Everyone in the front office and on the property was very friendly. From the second we walked in the room smelled fresh and clean. The room was large, beautiful and had everything we needed and more (spacious table, microwave, fridge, K-cups with a Keurig machine, a very spacious back patio just for us, extra fleece blankets...). We enjoyed our breakfast in the back deck that faces a beautiful waterway and even got to see a dolphin hunting for fish. We really enjoyed the back deck and went out there often. The location is also great in that it was so quiet and peaceful, yet we were also in walking distance from the Snook Inn where we went for dinner, and a very cute area with bars and live music. We highly recommend it and we will definitely back!”
