Otter Mound Preserve

"We took my mother in a short walk of the site just to get out and stretch her legs from riding in the car so much. There isn't a lot to see but it was a very beautiful day for a leisurely stroll. The pathway is mulch type chips and she handled it just fine. There were a few birds to view and some native trees too. They also have a few markers detailing some of the brief history"

"Just a small preserve, but a very cool one... Worth the ride out, off Inlet Drive and Addison Court... Careful, you can pass it by real easy, so take your time... You will not believe the number of whelk shells that make up the "garden" boundaries... Stunning! Great history markers... I like the one that shares that fall is the best time to visit as that is when the migrating birds come to visit..."

"If you expect a small state park with otters like I did, you'll be wrong. This is just a small park which you can walk through in 10 mins with a couple of signs about the conch wall at the entrance. There are no bathrooms or information posts here."

"Was looking for a nature preserve in Naples to visit. While interesting, very small, short little trail. More of in the center of a nice neighborhood. Glad for experience but would not return."
