"It's an absolute scenic resort golf course. The overall conditions are excellent from tee box to green. The fairways are wide-open with big and undulating greens. The greens run smooth with a speed of about 8 to 9. It would be wonderful if the speed is 10 or 11. There are plenty of refrigerated bottle water throughout the course. The course also comes with cool towels to battle the FL summer heat. It's a very playable course!"
"Belongs to the JW Marriott Marco Island. It is however not on-site but approx. 7 miles away which means a 15-minutes drive. 18 holes championship course, designed by Peter Jacobson. Facilities on a good level, well-maintained. The course itself runs through a gated community with plenty of houses. There are even some disturbing high-rise buildings. Despite all these houses there is nature and plenty of wildlife, especially alligators. Not only in ponds but also on some fairways at the water‘s edge. You better stay away from them. The course itself is ok, not too difficult. Wide fairways. Slow greens. Has a lot of water and plenty of bunkers. Some interesting holes. All in all an ok course but not exceptional. Greenfee quite steep. $289 for hotel guests between 11:00 AM - 02:00 PM."
"First class all the way. Wonderful course and great staff. Good shots are rewarded well. Lots of water but very fair. I would suggest bringing more than 3 golf balls for your round."
"This place is great. The course is pristine and the staff is amazing. Rented clubs. Latest and greatest TaylorMade Stealth set. There was a mix up with the shuttle back to the hotel. They went way above and beyond, a staff member from the Pro Shop gave me a ride back to the hotel. Great experience, highly recommended. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful."
"I'm a full time Naples resident so I get to play a lot of great courses. Hammock Bay is one of my favorites. Always in great shape (most Marriott courses are). Very playable from the correct tees. Standing on any tee box, there's a nice view. Very few buildings on the course; when visible, they're not in-play. Staff is always friendly."
